According to reports, Comrie is worth nearly half a billion dollars.

Aside from his lucrative contract as an NHL star, Comrie is reportedly the heir to The Brick furniture business in Canada which is worth hundreds of millions of dollars.

Controversial Lane Bryant ad becomes online hit

The controversy brought about by the alleged rejection of a lingerie ad by major networks seemed to have worked well for the former.

According to reports, the advertisement for Lane Bryant, a retailer of satin bridal lingerie and other undergarments, has so far tallied about 2.5 million viewers online in less than a week.

The commercial is called “So Not What Mom Would Wear” which features a plus-sized female model getting dressed and wearing the new Cacique line of Lane Bryant. Network officials in ABC and Fox believe that the ads look very racy.

Lane Bryant posted on its website the video of the ad and placed a phrase “the commercial Fox and ABC did not want their viewers to see.” As have been reported in the past, the ads were not shown in “American Idol” in Fox and “Dancing With the Stars” in ABC.
